Bonnie J. Currie
Bonnie was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University and went on to graduate with honors from the Florida State University College of law. For over 17 years, Bonnie has enjoyed an active practice of defending employers and carriers at the trial and appellate levels in Longshore, Florida workers’ compensation, and general civil matters.
She has been admitted to the United States Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and has been “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell for many years indicating the highest standards of ethics, legal ability and professional excellence. Bonnie has lectured on topics relating to the Longshore Act and Florida Workers’ Compensation Act, and is a member of the workers’ compensation section of the Florida Bar.
